The municipality of Großweil has around 1540 inhabitants and is part of the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is located in one of the most scenic areas in Bavaria and, in addition to being close to the Kochelsee, also offers a unique panorama of the Alps. The Kochelsee has very well-kept beaches and also ensures fantastic bathing conditions with its high water quality.
