Hallbergmoos is a municipality in the Freising district in Upper Bavaria. It is about 25 km north of Munich near the "Franz-Josef-Strauß" airport. The DHH is located in the district of Goldach and is located in a low-traffic residential area, not far from the eponymous stream "Goldach".

Shops for daily needs as well as the sports and leisure park are in the vicinity of the house. A crèche and a kindergarten as well as a primary school and a secondary school are also within easy walking distance.

The infrastructure in Hallbergmoos is excellently developed. The location benefits from its proximity to Freising, Munich Airport and the state capital of Munich. Hallbergmoos has ideal transport links via the A92 and A9 motorways and the B301 federal road. The connection to public transport is also very good. Hallbergmoos has its own S-Bahn station, from which S8 trains run every 20 minutes in the direction of Munich (30-minute journey) and the airport (5-minute journey).
