Emerging community in the east of the state capital

Poing is located about 20 kilometers east of the state capital Munich in the district of Ebersberg. In recent years, Poing has changed from a purely agricultural location to a modern, emerging community with around 15,000 inhabitants and a considerable commercial settlement. Poing is nationally known due to the construction center Poing in the district Grub, Bavaria's largest prefab exhibition. Poing can look back on more than a thousand years of documentary history. The oldest settlements prove, however, that here already around the year 3000 BC. Humans have lived. The proximity to the state capital, the fair Riem and Munich Airport as well as the convenient transport links make Poing a very popular place to live.
