The Graggenauer Viertel is characterized by the ducal buildings of the Old Court and the Munich Residence, which together with them between the assigned and the court service buildings, such as the Old Marstall (Old Coin), the ducal arsenals and the Hofpfisterei, the district in two halves shared an area on the old town terrace and an area in the valley.
