More precisely, the property is located in the Schönberg district, around three kilometers southeast of Rottenbuch on the summit of a hill in the Bavarian Alpine foothills. The next bus stop is only a few minutes' walk from the property. From here buses go to Rottenbuch (journey time around 10 minutes) and to the next larger towns Schongau (around 20 minutes) and Weilheim (around 45 minutes). Both Munich and Augsburg can be reached by car in around an hour.
